Announced at CES 2026, Bosch is bringing its cordless cleaning tech to the U.S. for the first time. A major player in the European market, the brand is known for its trustworthy German engineering and value for money, meaning this release could be a game-changer in a market currently dominated by Dyson and Shark.

Available to buy right now, Bosch’s Unlimited 9 and 10 vacuums boast a high-efficiency brushless motor and the ability to capture up to 99.9% of dust. Better yet, the German-made motor is backed by a 10-year warranty.

Pricing starts at $499 for the Unlimited 9 and $599 for the Unlimited 10. It’s competitive when compared to leading models from Dyson and Shark, but far from cheap. We’ll have to get hands-on to say whether they compete with the best vacuum cleaners, but for now, here’s what we know.

What can you expect with these two new releases? For a start, Bosch’s 10-year motor warranty is not to be sniffed at. As a Home Editor who’s based in the U.K., I’m very familiar with Bosch’s home tech, and while I’ve not tried the Unlimited 9 or 10 vacuums, I can vouch for the brand’s reputation for reliability and quality design in Europe.

Warranty aside, Bosch claims that these vacuums can capture up to 99.9% of dust, including even invisible particles. They also boast a “MicroClean Brush” which will work on both hard floors and thicker carpets, with a dedicated sensor that will change in color once your floor is fully cleaned.

When the LED MicroClean Ring switches to bright blue, the vacuum is giving you the, er, green light that it’s OK to stop cleaning. That’s a setting which will save you time and guesswork, and I’ve not seen anything like it from rival brands before.

One feature that you can find in rival brands, albeit for a much higher price, is the new Compression Slider. This allows you to condense your dust box mid-use, creating more room as you go to save on frequent emptying. Dyson introduced this feature in its new V16 Piston, but it’s not a widely available feature in the current cordless market.

What’s the difference between the two models? According to Bosch, the Unlimited 10 offers a longer battery life and a bendable tube for easier cleaning under couches and tables. It’s also got an interactive display, meaning you can switch between cleaning modes with ease.

We’ll be sure to test these new vacs in the weeks to come. You can buy the Bosch Unlimited 9 for $499 at Amazon and the Unlimited 10 for $599 at Amazon, now available to buy.
