You might finally stop carrying your vacuum between floors. Dreame showcased its Cyber X concept, a cleaner equipped with retractable rubber tracks that allow it to autonomously navigate stairs and multi-level terrain.
Originally debuted at IFA, the device can tackle steps up to 25cm high and inclines of 42 degrees. It functions as a standard mop and vacuum, utilizing laser navigation to map layouts while ascending. Crucially, a built-in braking system ensures the device locks in place on stairs even if the battery runs out mid-climb. [TechNode reporting]
