Honor is preparing to launch an IP co-branded collaboration with trendy toy maker Pop Mart, Chinese media outlet China Star Market reported. Pop Mart has previously said it has no plans to develop smartphones, with the partnership instead focusing on cross-industry IP integration. Pop Mart has posted strong sales from earlier IP tie-ups, including co-branded blind box products with Tencent’s mobile game Honor of Kings. The planned collaboration with Honor is expected to incorporate Pop Mart’s designer toy aesthetics into smart devices, targeting younger consumers and broadening the reach of both brands.
