The 5 Best Post-CES Weekend Tech Deals on Headphones, Tablets, and Tax Software

Some weeks are busier than others around here, and CES week might be the busiest. The annual consumer tech convention is where we get the first look at all the new stuff hitting retailers, and with thousands of exhibitors to contend with we end up pretty fried by Friday. That’s why I’m ending the week with five soothing deals on products that we’ve already reviewed glowingly, at discounts of 25% or more. If you want to save, now’s the time.

Apple Watch Series 11 Deal

Snagging a $100 price drop on the latest Apple Watch is a great way to start the new year. The Apple Watch 11 got an Editors’ Choice award in our review, as well as being named our best new smartwatch of 2025. It takes the well-refined form factor and component loadout of the previous version and improves on just about everything, with better battery life, a harder glass screen, and most importantly the introduction of 5G connectivity for faster cellular connections. It’s a pleasure to wear and has a zillion apps for just about every purpose. This price won’t last long, so snag one now.

Beats Solo 4 Headphones Deal

Amazon has a nice deal on a powder-pink pair of Beats Solo 4 headphones, which deliver the brand’s standard high sound quality with a no-frills approach. In our review, we noted that the sculpted sound popped highs clearly and pumped out deep, rumbling bass tones. Friction-free pairing with Apple devices is also a strong selling point here. Battery life is also worth noting, with up to 50 hours of consistent usage between charges. They do lack active noise cancellation, but this iteration added personalized spatial audio, which adds dimensionality to your favorite songs and podcasts.

Amazon Kindle Scribe Deal

Are you the kind of person who needs to interact with your reading material? The Kindle Scribe is one of our favorite ways to take notes, mark passages, or just doodle in the margins of your favorite e-books. Amazon has been the market leader in e-ink tablets for over a decade, and their incremental improvements always hit the mark. In our review, we praised this model’s huge, bright display, and noted that the Premium Pen stylus felt great in the hand and responsive on the page.
