CES 2026 was the venue for the announcement of MSI’s revamped laptop range, headlined by the completely redesigned Prestige series but also featuring next-generation gaming laptops, the Modern S series for mobility and versatility, and even a special edition gaming handheld.
The new Prestige lineup introduces a refreshed design language, defined by smoother, more rounded contours and meticulous craftsmanship that enhances its premium character inside and out. Equipped with the latest Intel Core Ultra Series 3 processors, the Prestige combines advanced performance with a sleek, lightweight build, setting a new benchmark for a modern business laptop.

The new Prestige series delivers long‑lasting performance enhanced by next‑generation graphics and AI capabilities. Its high‑capacity 81Wh battery enables more than 30 hours of 1080p video playback, enabling true multi‑day productivity without constant recharging. The addition of Intel Arc B390 graphics marks a major leap in visual power, making the system suitable for content creation and even gaming on the move. The Prestige’s advanced cooling setup, featuring a vapour chamber, dual‑fan system, and Intra Flow thermal design, keeps performance consistent while maintaining noise levels below 30 dBA.
The Prestige 14 and 16 Flip models offer the same performance and slim profile as the clamshell versions, but with the added versatility of a 2‑in‑1 design and OLED touchscreens. Each one includes MSI’s Nano Pen, stored in a slot for easy access and providing 45 minutes of use from a 15‑second charge, with a full charge taking only 30 seconds. Through MSI’s collaboration with Microsoft, the Nano Pen also features a Copilot press‑to‑talk function for seamless voice input. Meanwhile, the Prestige 13 AI+ just got even lighter, tipping the scales at just 899 grams for the perfect blend of power and portability.

Gaming performance
If it’s games you’re after, MSI has got you covered. The Raider series has long been synonymous with extreme gaming performance, and the new Raider 16 Max HX pushes that legacy even further, delivering unprecedented power in a more compact chassis. Despite its streamlined size, this machine stands as the world’s first gaming laptop capable of reaching a staggering 300W of total system power. Under full load, it drives up to 175W to the RTX 5090 or 5080 GPU while simultaneously supplying 125W to the Intel Core Ultra 200HX processor, securing its position as the most powerful gaming laptop available today.
To sustain that level of performance, MSI introduces the all-new Cooler Boost Trinity with Intra Flow thermal system. With three fans, six heatpipes, five exhaust vents, and deploying phase‑change thermal compound, the Raider 16 Max HX remains cool and surprisingly quiet, even during the most demanding gaming, creative, or multitasking sessions. Upgradability is achieved thanks to a quick‑access panel that allows users to expand memory and storage with ease. Support for DDR5 RAM and PCIe Gen5 SSDs ensures the system stays fast and future-ready.
Visuals are equally cutting-edge, with a 2.5K 240Hz OLED display featuring VESA DisplayHDR True Black 1000 certification and SGS low blue light protection – ideal for gaming and high‑resolution creative workflows.
Ultraportable power
Alongside the Raider, MSI elevates its Stealth lineup with the Stealth 16 AI +, a CES award-winning ultraportable powerhouse. At just 16.6mm thin and under 2kg, it pairs a premium full‑aluminum chassis with a large 90Wh battery. An upgraded Cooler Boost system enables up to 20W more GPU power for the RTX 50 series, boosting performance across gaming and creative tasks. Despite its slim profile, it offers robust connectivity including dual Thunderbolt 4 and HDMI 2.1, and remains upgradeable with dual memory and SSD slots.
Rounding out the lineup, the new Crosshair 16 Max HX and Crosshair 16 HX deliver bold design and bigger power, now equipped with Intel Core Ultra 200HX processors and Nvidia GeForce RTX 50 series GPUs. With MSI’s Cooler Boost system and quad‑vent exhaust, they reach up to 200W of total system power, a 30W jump over the previous generation. An optional QHD+ 165Hz OLED display provides crisp, fluid gameplay, while an improved I/O layout and a vibrant 24‑zone RGB keyboard complete the package.

If it’s handheld gaming you want, the Claw 8 AI+ Glacier Blue Edition debuts in a striking new finish, featuring layered icy tones that flow across its curved chassis to create a sense of depth and motion. The result is a look that fuses premium esports styling with a vibrant, playful gaming personality. Beneath the refreshed exterior, it retains the full flagship hardware of the standard Claw 8 AI+, powered by Intel Core Ultra 200V processors and Arc Xe2 graphics, delivering uncompromised, top-tier handheld performance in every scenario.
A Modern masterpiece
The all-new Modern 14S and 16S arrive with a refreshed design that incorporates more metal throughout the chassis and smoother contours. The result is a noticeably more premium look and feel that broadens the series’ appeal while displaying MSI’s accessible, high‑quality craftsmanship.

Powered by the latest Intel Core Ultra Series 3 processors and featuring dual memory slots across the lineup, the Modern S series delivers dependable performance with room to grow. Its well-rounded connectivity suite, including a Micro SD card reader, ensures users have the flexibility they need for modern multitasking and everyday productivity.
Despite these enhancements, the Modern S series maintains impressive portability. With an aluminum chassis measuring as thin as 11.1mm and weighing just 1.3kg on the Modern 14S OLED model, it offers exceptional mobility and efficiency for users who need performance they can carry anywhere.
