YouTube TV offers live access to over 100 channels, but its regular $83-a-month price puts off many potential subscribers. If you are on the fence about whether the service is worth the cost, the platform’s latest offer lets you try it out without paying the full price.

As spotted by 9to5Google, Google is currently running a limited-time promo on YouTube TV’s website. First-time subscribers can now sign up for the service and receive a 10-day free trial. After the trial ends, the Base plan costs $59.99 per month for the first two months, saving you $23 a month and $46 in total.

Anyone who has not redeemed a free trial previously can claim this one before March 17. To be eligible, you need to be 18 or older and have a Google account. Once the promotional offer runs out, you’ll be charged the regular $82.99 per month.

You can cancel your trial or your subsequent subscription at any time. However, make sure to do that before your next bill arrives. “No refunds for partial billing periods are available,” Google warns.

As of early last year, YouTube TV had over 8 million subscribers. Throughout the year, though, YouTube was engaged in contract disputes with several of its partners, including Disney, Fox, and Paramount. While deals with all three parties were eventually signed, Disney channels such as ABC and ESPN went dark for a short while during the negotiations.

This year, to provide users with better options and reduce their overall costs, YouTube TV plans to roll out 10 genre-specific plans. Sports is confirmed, while news, kids, and family entertainment have been hinted at. The program will also let users combine two plans together.
