If you want better audio than your phone can deliver while creating content on the go but a high-end wireless mic isn’t in the budget, DJI’s Mic Mini is worth a look. It’ll improve your audio without putting much of a dent in your wallet, especially today now you can buy it with a single mic and two transmitters for $59.99 ($20 off) at Amazon, matching its best price to date.

The Mic Mini is a small wireless microphone designed to deliver clearer, more professional-sounding audio than built-in phone and camera mics. Its receiver plugs directly into a phone, camera, or other devices via USB-C or a standard 3.5mm audio cable, with a Lightning adapter available for older Apple devices and Bluetooth support. DJI also includes a dial on the receiver with five adjustable volume levels, and you can pair two transmitters at once so you can capture audio from up to about 400 meters away when you need more range.

Weighing just 10 grams, the Mic Mini is also comfortable to wear and can be clipped to clothing or worn using a magnetic mount or lanyard so it stays visible on camera. Despite its tiny size, the transmitter lasts up to 11.5 hours on a single charge, though, while the receiver can run for up to 10.5 hours. While you won’t get pro-level features like an onboard screen for monitoring audio levels or built-in backup recording, for casual content creation on the go, the Mic Mini covers the essentials well.
