Tencent announced yesterday that its Honor of Kings’ IP auto chess game, Honor of Kings: Wanxiang Chess, will start large-scale testing this December. Developed by TiMi Studio, the game focuses on fair competition and strategic battles, allowing six players to build diverse lineups through card synergies, hero skills, and roguelike events. The game combines modern aesthetics with a trendy Eastern style and introduces an innovative “100-level hero growth system” and hero-specific skills. The upcoming test will feature classic hero characters such as Yao, Li Bai, and Sun Shangxiang, and players can enjoy both solo and team battle modes. Reservations are now open, and testing slots are being distributed simultaneously. [IThome, in Chinese]
