PORSCHE has unveiled a stunning luxury speedboat that’s so posh, it even has a matching car to go with it.
The German motoring giant is looking to tempt cash-flush buyers with its new Frauscher x Porsche 790 Spectre.
It’s an all-electric “sports boat” that’s been built based on the design and systems of Porsche’s relatively new Macan Turbo EV.
Porsche boasts that its new watercraft is “lightweight, agile and efficient”.
It has a 100kWh battery, a 400kW PSM motor, and measures just over 26 feet in length.
The boat, built in partnership with Frauscher, borrows heavily from the Macan, inside and out.

“The new boat is not only powered by Porsche – it also carries the sports car brand’s same design DNA throughout many details,” Porsche said.
“Through numerous exterior and interior features, the boat and SUV share a unified design style, merging the domains of road and water.”
The boat features an exclusive paintjob called Darkteal Metallic, although you can also choose your own colour if you’d prefer something else.
In a Porsche sports car, you’d normally find the start button to the left of the steering wheel.
And it’s the same on the Frauscher 790 Spectre.
As well as that, the steering wheel will look instantly familiar to Porsche fans – it’s upholstered in original Porsche leatherette looks just like one you’d find in a Macan.
You’ve also got car-style sports seats for both the driver and front passenger.
And just like in the cars, the Porsche crest is emblazoned on the headrest.
As well as that, the five round instruments on the dash are designed to look like a classic Porsche panel.
If that wasn’t enough, Porsche has mustered up a special version of its compact SUV to go with it.
The Macan Turbo Concept Lago comes in the same Darkteal Metallic paintjob that you’ll find on the boat.
And it even sports boat-style finishings that you won’t find on a regular Macan.
“Both the front and the rear luggage compartments are lined with yacht-style real wood,” Porsche boasted.
“The high-quality natural material is also found in the decorative elements of the door trims and the floor mats, evoking the feel of a ship’s deck.”

The seat centres are supposedly upholstered in “marine-grade fabric”, not that you’ll be taking this into the ocean.
And to top it all off, you get identically customised keys for both the boat and SUV – which are colour-matched to boot.
The boat is available to order right now, but it’s not cheap.
It’ll set you back €511,500 (excluding VAT) – that’s £444,000 or $610,000 with a direct currency conversion. The car is still in “concept” stage and doesn’t have pricing, but the starting price for a Porsche Macan Turbo Electric in the UK is £97,500.
