SAMSUNG has revealed its greatest privacy feature yet that prevents prying eyes from seeing your messages in public once and for all.
It’s a common problem people face everywhere from sitting on the train to waiting in a shop queue.

Those having a peek may be annoying nosy folk – but they may also be hackers hoping to catch sensitive information to raid your phone and accounts.
Over the years, many have turned to stick-on privacy screen protectors.
But Samsung‘s latest innovation could make them a thing of the past.
The South Korean tech giant has teased a clever upgrade coming to Galaxy phones that makes it hard to view the phone’s screen from certain angles.

Samsung describes it as “privacy at a pixel level”.
The firm hasn’t gone into too much detail about how it works but said the result is “a fusion of hardware and software expertly calibrated to protect you without getting in your way”.
And rather than blocking everything from view you can customise it as you see fit.
So you can set the tool to kick into action automatically with certain apps, such as banking, or whenever you’re entering access details for more private areas of your phone.

You could also use it to obscure notification pop-ups from being visible to others.
Samsung said it took over five years of engineering, testing and refining to develop the feature.

The company added that the option is “coming to Galaxy very soon” but didn’t specify whether it’ll be available to existing Galaxy devices as a free update or if it’ll only be on new upcoming Galaxy phones, with the fresh Galaxy S26 line-up expected to launch soon.
“Samsung will soon unveil a new layer of privacy to shield your phone from shoulder surfing wherever you go,” the firm explained.
“You’ll have the space to check your messages or enter a password on public transit without thinking twice about who might be watching.”
WORRIED ABOUT PRIVACY FOR KIDS?
For anyone concerned about how their kids use special features – and what they get up to on mobiles – there’s a special Samsung Kids tool.
This transforms any Galaxy phone or tablet into a child-friendly mode, where parents have control over app access, can set time limits and monitor their usage.
You can set-up Samsung Kids by swiping down from the top of the phone’s display and selecting the Kids button.
If you don’t see it there, tap the pencil edit button under Full, then add Kids – you can then select it and start choosing the measures that work for you and your child.
