Motorola is refreshing its budget-friendly Moto G lineup with four new smartphones. The company is also tying the launch to a FIFA World Cup 2026 promotion aimed at football fans across the UK, Ireland and select global markets.

The new devices — Moto G77, Moto G67, Moto G17 and Moto G17 Power — sit firmly in the affordable end of the market. This continues Motorola’s push to offer capable hardware at prices that undercut much of the competition.

Leading the range are the Moto G77 and Moto G67, both of which offer specs that are increasingly rare at this price point. Each features a large 6.78-inch AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate, along with Gorilla Glass protection and IP-rated water resistance.

The Moto G77 stands out with a 108MP main camera and 3x lossless zoom, both rarely seen at such an affordable price point. Meanwhile, the Moto G67 opts for a 50MP Sony LYTIA 600 sensor designed to perform well in varied lighting conditions.

Below those sit the Moto G17 and Moto G17 Power, which focus more on everyday reliability than headline specs. Both include a 50MP main camera with an ultra-wide lens. The Power variant prioritises endurance with a 6000mAh battery, aimed at users who value long battery life over slim design.

Alongside the hardware launch, Motorola is rolling out a FIFA World Cup 2026 promotion running from 28 January to 30 April. UK and Irish customers who buy an eligible Motorola phone during that window can enter a prize draw.

The headline reward offers a trip to Mexico City to attend the opening match of the tournament. Weekly prizes also include a special-edition Motorola Razr FIFA World Cup 26 model that won’t be available to buy.

The promotion is clearly designed to add extra appeal, but the phones themselves remain the main draw. With OLED screens, high-refresh-rate displays and large batteries appearing across the range, Motorola is continuing to blur the line between budget and mid-range devices.

The Moto G77 and Moto G67 are available now in the UK, priced at £249.99 and £199.99 respectively, while the Moto G17 launches at £149.99. However, pricing and availability for the Moto G17 Power are yet to be confirmed.
