After last season’s historic Seattle Mariners playoff run, there might be a lot more fans looking to tune into the team’s games on television this season. Now they’ll have new places to do it.

The Mariners, who shut down Root Sports Northwest at the end of the 2025 season, announced Thursday how games will be broadcast in 2026 — produced and distributed by Major League Baseball — via streaming, cable and satellite TV.

  • Fans who want to watch on traditional cable or satellite providers will be able to tune into a Mariners TV channel, similar to how they watched Root. Specific providers and channel information will be announced closer to Opening Day.
  • Fans without cable/satellite who prefer streaming games on assorted devices will use “Mariners.TV,” a new direct-to-consumer streaming platform allowing access to live Mariners games in Washington state, Idaho, Oregon, Alaska, Montana or Hawaii.

The streaming option, through the MLB app, will be offered at $99.99 per year or $19.99 per month. Subscriptions for the 2026 season will be available starting Feb. 10, according to the M’s.

Fans who live outside the Mariners home market will be able to watch games with the standard MLB.TV package.
