I don’t mean to startle anyone, but Pokémon is 30 years old this year, and you’re going to hear about it during Super Bowl LX.
The Pokémon Company put out a quick little teaser video on its YouTube channel on Wednesday morning that doesn’t say much on its own, but does tease something more in the near future. There will apparently be some kind of Pokémon 30th anniversary ad during Super Bowl LX on Sunday, and this video serves as a tease for that.

It’s also not clear if what airs during the Super Bowl will feature any kind of news about upcoming video games, cards, toys, or TV shows, or if it’ll just be a very expensive reminder that Pokémon exists and has existed for three decades.
