Epson has presented two projectors at ISE 2026, intended for both the professional and educational sectorsin addition to a new range of lenses compatible with its entire range of high-brightness projectors. They are the EB-XQ2030B and the EB-870Ei. The first, with a compact and lightweight design, has 4K resolution of 30,000 lumens. The second is an ultra-short distance interactive project for educational environments.
The Epson EB-XQ2030B projector is intended for use in stage rental and set-up, tourist attractions, themed entertainment, commercial visual communications, immersive spaces and digital art installations, as well as for certain corporate and higher education environments.
Combine the Epson 3LCD technology with 4K Crystal Motion to offer very high luminosity and highly detailed 4K images in a compact format. Due to its characteristics, it can be used both for mobile installations in rental environments or in staging, as well as for fixed installation projects in which size, weight and installation flexibility are important.
It features an improved lens range with full throw ratio coverage (0.39-11:1) and new lens designs, including L-shaped and straight UST options. It also integrates an advanced cooling engine to manage the internal temperatures of the laser light source and optical components. It supports SDM slots for expandable connectivity options, including AVoIP modules and media players; as well as with SDM boards from HIVE, Matrox and Apantac.
The projector incorporates HDMI input and output, 12G-SDI and HDBaseT input and output, and offers the integrated assist camera function, with easy stacking and blending. Additionally, it is compatible with Epson Projector Professional Tool and Epson Projector Config Tool software. It will be available throughout next summer, and is compatible with the H series lens family, which covers a brightness range between 6000 and 30,000 lumens.
As for the Epson EB-870Ei, creates a large, high-luminosity, sharp-image interactive display, with an ultra-short projection design that facilitates the reduction of shadows and reflections. Additionally, it offers a large interactive surface for clear viewing from any angle or distance within the classroom.
This projector has WiFI, Ethernet, Miracast and Epson iProjection connectivity, allowing you to share content from different sources depending on the classroom infrastructure and device preferences. It features a wall mount designed for quick and easy installation, and a control box with USB-C connectivity for interactive control and charging of the connected source device.
It is accompanied by the application Epson Setting Assistantwhich makes it easy to set up and align with the required screen dimensions and features new interactive pens with an improved writing experience and rechargeable battery.
It features install-and-forget laser technology with improved resolution and sound, and uses Epson’s laser light source technology to ensure long-lasting, low-maintenance operation. In addition, it incorporates 4K Enhancement resolution and improved sound.
