The Presidents’ Day sales in the United States have thrown up a cracking deal on one of 2025’s best sub-flagship smartphones. Amazon is offering the Samsung Galaxy S25 FE for $450. That’s 31% off the $650 asking price.
Naturally, there’s free Amazon Prime delivery and a choice of four colours, including Navy, Icy Blue, Jet Black, and White. The deal is offered for the version of the phone with 128GB of storage.
This phone is considered an excellent alternative to paying full whack for the full-fat Samsung Galaxy S25 smartphone. It’s got the same screen size, same battery capacity and same charging speeds. The display is a 6.7-inch AMOLED number with a FHD+ resolution. The key spec is support for LPTO variable refresh rates (1Hz-120Hz), which isn’t all that common on a phone below flagship levels. Nice one Samsung.
There are three cameras once again. There’s the 50MP main camera, a 12MP ultrawide and an 8MP telephoto lens with optical zoom. In that regard, it’s the same as the S24 FE. Samsung offers OneUI 8 on top of Android 16, which means you’re getting the same experience as the flagship levels. That includes all of the Galaxy AI-powered apps and software, including Now Brief.
The Exynos 2400 processor does the heavy lifting and, although it’s not quite as powerful as the CPU within the flagship range, it’s efficient. This phone is a stayer, offering strong battery life from the 4900mAh cell.
