Oppo has confirmed that the Find X9 Ultra will launch globally later this year, with Europe included in the initial release markets, marking the first time the company’s Ultra platform has expanded beyond China.

Announced at MWC 2026 in Barcelona, the Find X9 Ultra features a Hasselblad co-developed imaging system that Oppo describes as the most advanced camera setup it has ever built into a smartphone, continuing a collaboration between the two brands that has defined the upper tier of the Find X series.

The Ultra platform has historically remained a China-exclusive product line, making the European commitment a meaningful shift in Oppo’s global distribution strategy and a direct signal of intent in a premium smartphone market currently dominated by Apple and Samsung.

Details on the specific hardware inside the Find X9 Ultra remain undisclosed at this stage, with Oppo confirming only that the imaging system advances next-generation optical engineering and that full specifications will be released in phases ahead of the global launch.

The device enters a crowded field of flagship smartphones competing on camera performance, with rivals including the vivo X300 Ultra, Samsung Galaxy S26 Ultra, and Apple iPhone 17 Pro all staking claims in the professional mobile imaging category at the high end of the market.

Oppo Europe CEO Elvis Zhou, speaking at the company’s Barcelona media event, stated that the Find X9 Ultra sets a new benchmark for mobile imaging, framing the Ultra designation as a standard the device must earn rather than a marketing label applied across the range.

The Find X9 Ultra arrives at a point when European consumers have shown a sustained appetite for premium Android alternatives, with the continent representing one of the most competitive and brand-conscious smartphone markets globally.

Pricing, full specifications, and confirmed regional availability for the OPPO Find X9 Ultra will be released in phases ahead of the global launch later in 2026.
