Tencent Music Entertainment Group reported 2025 revenue of RMB 32.9 billion ($4.71 billion), up 15.8% year-on-year, while net profit attributable to equity holders rose 66.4% to RMB 11.06 billion ($1.58 billion). Non-IFRS net profit increased 25% to RMB 9.59 billion ($1.37 billion).
The company said revenue from online music services rose 22.9% to RMB 26.73 billion ($3.82 billion), accounting for 81.2% of total revenue, up from 76.5% a year earlier. Music subscription revenue grew 16% to RMB 17.66 billion ($2.53 billion), while non-subscription music revenue jumped 39.2% to RMB 9.07 billion ($1.30 billion), driven by offline performances, merchandise and advertising.
Tencent Music said online music paying users reached 127.4 million by the end of 2025, up 5.3% year-on-year. The company also announced an annual cash dividend of about $368 million for fiscal 2025. [TechNode reporting]
