Alibaba Cloud said it has raised prices for its AI computing and storage products by up to 34%, citing surging global demand for AI and higher supply chain costs, according to a notice on its website. The price increases affect a range of offerings, including AI accelerator cards such as the T-Head Zhenwu 810E, which have risen between 5% and 34%. Its file storage product CPFS (AI computing edition) has increased by about 30%.
People familiar with the matter said a sharp rise in token usage has also driven the adjustments. Alibaba Cloud Bailian, the company’s Model-as-a-Service platform, recorded its fastest growth on record in the first quarter.
