Good quality sleep is crucial for managing stress. It is therefore advisable to develop an evening routine, for example by installing a blue light filter on your mobile devices. Proper nutrition also plays an important role. For a balanced diet, it is important to plan regular meals. Healthy snacks can help keep blood sugar levels stable on particularly stressful days.

First, organize your everyday work sensibly

In addition, employees should better organize their everyday work so that they have enough time for breaks and meals. Not only can this help reduce perceived stress, but it can also help make your day more efficient. Regular exercise in everyday life can help reduce stress. Short exercise sessions such as walks during a phone call or short stretching exercises between two meetings are helpful.

In addition, targeted recovery breaks should be introduced to increase performance. Small power naps or short relaxation exercises have proven to be particularly effective. Complicated diets or excessive self-optimization are not necessary. Rather, it’s about gradually making small changes in your own everyday work in order to minimize the negative effects of constant stress – and thereby remain healthy and productive in the long term.

Change takes time and patience

At a time when the pressure on working people is increasing, it is more important than ever to create healthy routines that are integrated into everyday working life. Healthy sleep, regular exercise, a balanced diet and targeted rest breaks are essential to dealing with constant stress.

While these changes require time and patience, the long-term benefits are worth it. This enables working people to find the balance between work and well-being even in stressful times and often even complete the tasks in a shorter time.
