The BIP 6 keeps the simple and light style that we know at the range, but clearly improves the technical sheet. The screen goes to the amoled, with a slightly larger diagonal (1.97 inch) and a much finer resolution (450 X 390 pixels). Above all, the brightness rises up to 2,000 nits, which makes the watch much more readable outdoors. Glass is treated against fingerprints, a daily practical detail even if it will be necessary to see if it is really effective.
New for the screen and health follow -up
The housing mixes aluminum and reinforced polymer, and the liquid silicone bracelets are always comfortable, with a standard 22 mm format. Two physical buttons are present on the right side.
Inside, Amazfit is focusing on its new ZEPP OS 4.5 system, based on Openai technologies. This is where things become a little more original, with the “food logging” function. Concretely, you can photograph your plate or describe it quickly, and the watch automatically analyzes nutritional intake (calories, carbohydrates, proteins, etc.). Enough to refine your diet without taking out the calculator.
On the health side, it’s solid: heart rate, oxygen in the blood, sleep, stress level, recovery score … BIP 6 offers overall follow -up which on paper seems rather complete. The 6.0 Biotracker sensor is more precise than that of the previous model, and supports the analysis of the variability of the heart rate (HRV), a given data from athletes.
With more than 140 supported sports (from fitness to Hyrox, including swimming), BIP 6 is clearly cut for physical activity. Certain disciplines benefit from reinforced monitoring: personalized plans, analyzes of the muscles requested, recovery advice … The whole is accompanied by the Zepp Coach, an integrated intelligent assistant.
The watch is waterproof (5 ATM), takes on a multiband GPS, allows the download of cards with step by step guidance, and also offers Bluetooth 5.2 to make calls or receive notifications once paired on the phone.
A microphone and a speaker are integrated, as well as a vocal control system called Zepp Flow: you can speak naturally to your watch, without having to learn specific sentences. Rather pleasant to use.
Finally, autonomy progresses: 14 days announced in normal use, 6 days in intensive use, or 32 hours with the GPS. The USB-C charging base is provided, but without cable-for ecological reasons, dixit the brand.
Available at € 79.99 in four colors (black, red, stone and anthracite), BIP 6 aims for active users who want good health and sporting follow -up, without exploding their budget. No need to be a professional to take advantage of it: the interface is simple, the experience seems fluid, and the functions numerous enough to avoid getting bored.
