AARON Rodgers is looking like the biggest bargain on the free agent market.
The veteran NFL quarterback appears set to take a major pay cut in order to play his age-42 season.

Rodgers is currently a free agent after being cut by the New York Jets this offseason.
He has some bad blood with the team about how they ended things though, detailing his poor exit meeting on the Pat McAfee Show.
“I meet with the coach, we start talking… he runs out of the room,” Rodgers said.
“Then he comes back with the GM and I’m like, ‘all right.'”
Rodgers said it only took 20 seconds for new Jets head coach Aaron Glenn to tell him he didn’t want the quarterback on the team.
General manager Darren Mougey simply asked him “You sure you want to play football?”
Rogers replied “I’m interested,” but got a quick response from Glenn.
“We’re going in a different direction,” the Jets head coach said.
That meeting might have lit a fire in Rodgers’ belly, as he revealed he is ready to play football for cheap.
He told Pat McAfee that he is telling teams he will play for just $10 million.
It was previously reported that Rodgers was seeking a deal similar to that of Sam Darnold’s with the Seattle Seahawks.
Darnold signed a three-year, $100.5 million deal with Seattle, averaging $33.5 million deal.
The Athletic reported in March that Rodgers was eying that deal and that the New York Giants had offered Rodgers something in that range.
Rodgers hit back at those claims while on the Pat McAfee Show on Thursday.
He also made it known that “retirement could still be a possibility.”

Rodgers is battling through some personal issues and wants to make sure his decision isn’t affected by those issues.
“I’m 41 years old and I have some off the field stuff going on that requires my attention,” he said.
“I have a couple people in my inner circle who are really battling some difficult stuff.
“To make a commitment to a team is a big thing.”
If Rodgers does sign a new deal for the 2025 season, the Pittsburgh Steelers look like the favorites to land him.
