Acer has announced the launch of the Chromebook Plus Enterprise 714, a laptop designed for businesses and organizations seeking the newly expanded Google ecosystem for PCs running the ChromeOS operating system.
The new Chromebook Plus Enterprise models include the ChromeOS enterprise features unlockedensuring best-in-class security, easy management, flexible access, and enhanced administrative support. ChromeOS incorporates Google AI features that help employees optimize their performance, whether creating engaging content, leading meetings, or other tasks.
The Acer model is committed to a 14 inch screen with native resolution of 1920 X 1200 pixels, anti-glare coating and features optional multi-touch functions for intuitive and flexible control, note taking and more. The screen is inserted into a aluminum chassislight and thin (less than 1.4 kg and 17 mm thick), it is MIL-STD 810H certified to ensure durability and reliability in the most demanding conditions.
Inside, it includes a processor Intel Core 7 as the main engine, while in connectivity it adds a Gigabit Ethernet port for a reliable network connection, support for Wi-Fi 7, two Thunderbolt ports, an HDMI port and a fingerprint reader for secure biometric logins.
Acer loves one autonomy of 17 hours use and includes unique features such as reinforced I/O ports for stability during repeated use and hinges designed to withstand up to 20,000 opening and closing cycles.
The Chromebook Plus Enterprise 714 supports Cameyo’s virtual application delivery platform, which allows organizations to adopt ChromeOS and continue using new and existing applications (whether Windows, Linux, internal web or SaaS) on Acer devices. This way, companies using Cameyo enjoy greater security and simplified setup, while employees access native applications faster, whether they work in the office, remotely or on a hybrid schedule.
