On the occasion of the Computex 2025, Acer full of ads and lifts the veil on his first connected ring. While the Galaxy Ring did not necessarily give birth to a revolution in this segment, the Taiwanese manufacturer decides to try his luck with the Freessence Ring.
The Freese Ring is distinguished by its elegant and discreet design, designed in ultralight titanium alloy (2 to 3 grams depending on the waist), and offered in two colors: pink or black gold. It benefits from a 5 ATM (IP68) waterproofing certification, which makes it perfectly suitable for daily use, in the shower or at the pool.
A concentrate of technology in a titanium ring … without subscription
The connected Acer ring offers different health features, starting with the follow -up of the frequency and the heart variable. It can also follow the oxygen level in the blood (SPO2) or analyze the quality of sleep. All collection data is accessible via a companion mobile application, which operates artificial intelligence to provide personalized recommendations on the well-being and health of the user.
Unlike some competitors, Acer promises full access to all features without any subscription costs, a weight argument in the face of certain specialists who reserve certain advanced analyzes for their paid subscribers. Even Samsung would not spread the idea of offering a subscription with the Galaxy Ring.

Many details are still missing, starting with its Price and availability. It is also not known if the ring supports the NFC for contactless payments. Acer announces that it will be available in seven sizes and should quickly come back more details.
For the time being, the Freese Ring is positioned as an alternative in the universe of connected rings. It also confirms the manufacturer’s desire to diversify, as evidenced by the announcement of other connected objects boosted by AI. In addition to the ring, Acer unveils AI translation headphones capable of carrying out a real -time two -time bidirectional translation in 15 languages.
