A few days ago, Netflix announced that its Netflix Games service was a nice little success with more than 210 million downloads. Without much surprise, the games GTA represented a large majority of the latter. Netflix confirmed once again its intention to offer major video game licenses. The streaming giant had not lied since last night on the occasion of Geeked Week, we learned of the arrival of Civilization and of Street Fighter in the Netflix Games catalog.

It’s official, the next big cult video game licenses to join the Netflix Games catalog will be Civilizationwith the sixth opus and Street Fighter with the Champion Edition of its fourth opus. So yes, these are not very young games, since Civilization VI dates back to 2016 et Street Fighter IV to 2008. However, these are still great licenses and cult games that will undoubtedly be a great success, just with the nostalgia they will offer.
Civilization VI will offer, in addition to its basic game, all expansion packs of the game which were part of the Platinum Edition version of the game. For its part, Street Fighter IV will offer the Champion Edition with the 32 fighters who left on the latter. The cherry on the cake? iOS and Android users will be able to compete online exclusively via Netflix.
For now, Neither game has a release date yet.with Netflix indicating that both will be released soon. On the other hand, Netflix confirms that other major notable licenses from the history of video games will eventually join the games catalog. As a reminder, this option is free and accessible to all Netflix subscribers, allowing them to play many titles, without additional costs, without ads and without microtransactions.
