Having a good graphics card, a powerful processor or even significant RAM memory is essential to enjoy a gaming experience in excellent conditions on a PC. Of course, all this doesn’t do you much good without a monitor that’s up to the task.
Fortunately, there is no shortage of 4K screens on the market. The biggest manufacturers on the market, from LG to Samsung, including Asus and Dell, all offer their high-end monitors. Alienware, a regular at CES and which happens to be a subsidiary of Dell, also offers its own screens. At CES 2025, the manufacturer presents 27-inch QD-OLED 4K.
Alienware’s 27-inch 4K QD-OLED coming to Europe in April
Alienware’s 34-inch ultra-wide QD-OLED model gives birth to a 27-inch screen (model AW2725Q) expected in 2025. The new monitor displays 4K definition, a pixel density of 166 PPI and a 240Hz refresh rate ideal for smooth gaming. It doesn’t reach the 500Hz refresh rate of the OLED G6 presented by Samsung, but still.
Furthermore, Alienware monitor’s 0.03ms response time should satisfy demanding players and even professionals. Unsurprisingly, the 27-inch QD-OLED is compatible with NVIDIA G-SYNC, AMD FreeSync Premium Pro and VESA AdaptiveSync technologies. DolbyVision HDR and VESA DisplayHDR True Black 400 certifications ensure deep blacks and vibrant colors. Note that the monitor, like many of those announced during CES 2025, gives pride of place to artificial intelligence.
« The Alienware 27 4K QD-OLED Display features an AI algorithm optimized specifically to prevent burn-in, ensuring long-lasting performance and visual quality. The screen is also equipped with an anti-burn graphite sheet which further protects the screen from image retention. For added peace of mind, this display comes with an extended 3-year warranty, which includes coverage in the event of burn-in », Writes Alienware in its press release.
On the connectivity side, the AW2725Q has an HDMI 2.1 FRL eARC port for clear sound through Dolby Atmos certified speakers and other high definition audio devices. The Alienware 27 4K QD-OLED will be available in Europe in April 2025.
