The last two months of 2025 are packed with a bunch of premium smartphone launches, especially in India. From OnePlus 15, and iQOO 15 to Xiaomi 15 series — all are set to launch soon in the coming months. Note that the lineup, which includes the Vivo X300 and X300 Pro, was recently introduced in China, and it has already appeared on India’s BIS certification site, which hints that the launch is near. Based on the leaks, India will also be one of the first global markets to receive Vivo’s ZEISS Telephoto Extender Kit, an accessory designed to boost the camera’s optical zoom capabilities. ZEISS Telephoto Extender Kit: What It Does
Both the X300 and X300 Pro are said to support ZEISS 2.35x teleconverter lenses, which essentially allow longer optical zoom without losing image clarity. With this kit, the X300 Pro can get up to 8.8x optical zoom, while the standard X300 goes up to around 7x, according to the past launch in China. The Pro model’s focal length extends to 200mm, and the regular X300 reaches 165mm. Vivo has even added a dedicated Teleconverter Mode in the camera app, which is said to automatically detect and activate the lens using NFC support.
Vivo X300 Series: Specifications at a Glance
Based on the China launch, both phones are tipped to be powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 9500 chipset paired with up to 16GB LPDDR5X RAM and 1TB UFS 4.0 storage. They are expected to run on OriginOS 6 based on Android 16. Moreover, the Vivo X300 may feature a 6.31-inch LTPO OLED display with 1.5K resolution and 120Hz refresh rate, while the X300 Pro may get a slightly larger 6.78-inch display.
For photography, the X300 is expected to get a 200MP Samsung HPB main camera, a 50MP ultra-wide, and a 50MP telephoto lens. On the other hand, the X300 Pro may feature a 50MP Sony LYT-828 main sensor, a 200MP periscope telephoto lens, and a 50MP ultra-wide camera. Both are tipped to come with 50MP front cameras and OIS across lenses for better low-light shots. In terms of battery, the X300 is tipped to pack a 6,040mAh unit, while the Pro model may get a 6,510mAh. Both may support 90W wired and 40W wireless charging.
Vivo X300 Series: Expected Price in India
While Vivo hasn’t shared official prices yet, reports suggest that the Vivo X300 could start around Rs 70,000, while the X300 Pro may go up to Rs 95,000. However, the official launch date in India as well as the prices are under wraps.
