Behavior-tracking software firm Amplitude Inc. today announced the launch of Amplitude AI Agents, new artificial intelligence agents aimed at helping teams move faster, make smarter decisions and deliver better product experiences.
The company says the new agents operate like a team of AI-powered experts that work continuously to build better products, more responsive campaigns — boosting productivity tenfold, Amplitude claims.
The AI Agents differ from other agent platforms that require complex integrations and are instead built into Amplitude’s platform and can pull from customer analytics, experiments, session replays, guides, surveys and activations to interpret digital analytics data and proactively take action. The result, the company says, is that tasks that took days and weeks now take minutes, as Amplitude Agents take on the heaving lifting of mining data, providing root cause analysis, forming hypotheses and recommending an organization’s next move.
“Companies often tell us they have the data, but they don’t have the resources to analyze or act on it,” said co-founder and Chief Executive Spenser Skates. “With Amplitude’s AI Agents working around the clock, product development shifts from a slow, step-by-step process to a high-speed, multi-track system where strategy, analysis, and action can happen at the same time. This isn’t just about doing what you’ve always done, faster. It’s about doing what you wouldn’t, couldn’t or didn’t know how to do before.”
The company’s agents focus on customization, allowing users to decide the level of autonomy the agent has based on a given organization’s needs. Users can set guardrails, test insights and automate at their own pace to ensure that the team of agents works for them, not the other way around.
The company plans to release dozens of AI Agent templates tied to specific use cases. Examples include website conversion, onboarding, feature adoption and monetization.
The Conversion Agent continuously monitors website performance to detect drops before they affect business outcomes. When issues arise, it analyzes user sessions to uncover exactly where and why users are leaving the funnel.
The Onboarding Agent evaluates how new users interact with the initial product experience, identifying moments of hesitation or abandonment. It then creates and deploys tailored in-app guides to assist users through trouble spots in real time.
The Feature Adoption Agent segments behavior across user groups to reveal who’s engaging, who’s dropping off and why. It surfaces friction points not visible in standard dashboards and recommends targeted improvements.
And the Monetization Agent scans for behavioral signals that indicate readiness to purchase or upgrade. Based on past patterns and timing, it delivers the right message, offer or reminder to encourage conversion.
