Apple will unveil the iPhone 17 series on Sept. 10, but the China edition will once again miss out on the launch of Apple Intelligence. According to tech reporter Mark Gurman, Apple is steadily moving forward with plans to bring the AI feature to China, aiming for a rollout via software update by late 2025. For the Chinese market, Apple Intelligence will adopt a third-party partnership model: Baidu’s Ernie Bot will serve as the core cloud engine, while Alibaba will handle content review. Apple has already completed technical integration, but regulatory approvals in both China and the United States have caused repeated delays to the launch. [MyDrivers, in Chinese]
