Apple is getting ahead of the back-to-school rush with a trio of creepy, college-themed ads aimed at students — just in time for graduation season.

It’s May, which means graduation parties are on the horizon and college prep is in full swing. As anticipated, Apple is pitching to students and parents by showcasing how Macs can ease the academic grind with a new “Mac to School” ad campaign.

All three ads put students in “spooky” situations, such as transferring large files between computers, not being near your phone, and needing to snag key points from nigh-unmanageable notes.

“Dropped In” highlights AirDrop, showing how two students can quickly share large files, even under a time crunch. They narrowly avoid disaster by getting their video project submitted just before class.

“Mirrored” shows the perks of iPhone Mirroring. A busy student responds to an Uber Eats notification without getting up to grab her phone — keeping her flow and focus intact.

The third, titled “Pointed,” highlights Apple’s newly rolled out Apple Intelligence features.. A student looks over ancient biochem notes, and by using the Key Points summarization feature, prevents himself from digging through “pages and pages of incoherent ramblings.”

Interestingly, this appears to be a follow-up to last year’s trio of “Mac to School” ads with similarly spooky themes. That campaign spotlighted features like all-day battery life, Apple Silicon, and essential tools like Find My.
