The Apple Pencil (USB-C) takes what Apple did with the second Apple Pencil and condenses it into a more affordable stylus that still ticks most key boxes (barring one, more on that later).
The stylus itself features that same pixel-perfect precision that Apple has always been known for, alongside tilt sensitivity and incredibly low latency that makes note-taking, sketching and signing documents feel as natural as using a pen and paper.
Compared to the first and second-gen Apple Pencils that needed Lightning connectors (and Lightning to USB-C adapters), this model works with all of the latest USB-C iPads, charging directly via USB-C and attaching magnetically to the side of whichever iPad it’s being used with.

There is one caveat to bear in mind, however, this particular Apple Pencil doesn’t feature pressure sensitivity like the second-gen Apple Pencil and Apple Pencil Pro do, so if you’re buying solely for drawing or digital design, then it might be worth considering that.
For everyone else, though, the Apple Pencil (USB-C) packs all the features you could want in a stylus for the iPad, while making for a much more affordable investment than what’s currently available on the Apple Store.
