(Bloomberg) – Apple Inc. Prepare one of the most dramatic software revision in the history of the company, with the aim of transforming the interface of the iPhone, iPad and Mac for a new generation of users.

The makeover – later this year – will fundamentally change the appearance of the operating systems and make the various software platforms from Apple more consistent, according to people who are familiar with the effort. This includes updating the style of pictograms, menus, apps, windows and system buttons.

Nevertheless, Apple stops deficiency when merging its operating systems – a step that other technical giants have taken. The company believes that it can make better Macs and iPads by keeping their control systems separate. Another advantage for Apple is that it encourages consumers to buy both devices, instead of coming with it.
