THE APPLE Store has gone down, ahead of a highly anticipated announcement by the tech company.
Fans think this suggests that Apple is finally going to unveil the iPhone 17 following similar “glitches” over the years.

Normally, the website has a list of all of the company’s products but they have all be replaced by a simple message reading: “Be right back.”
Underneath, it says: “We’re making updates to the Apple Store. Check back soon.”
Also, the brand’s preferred white and grey colours have been swapped for an all-black background and an infrared Apple logo.
There is also a link to watch an upcoming event at Apple’s headquarters in Cupertino, California at 6pm BST (10am PT).
Although the brand hasn’t confirmed what the event will be about, fans have noticed a peculiar pattern with the way Apple announces products.
In previous years, the Apple Store has gone down ahead of major tech announcements – including brand new devices.
With rumours about the iPhone 17 swirling, fans think that tonight’s event could be the unveiling of the hotly-anticipated mobile device.
Apple is expected to launch the iPhone 17, iPhone 17 Pro, iPhone 17 Pro Max, and a new version of the mobile in the form of the iPhone 17 Air.
The iPhone 17 Air will be a lightweight version of the phone, measuring just 5.5mm in depth.
Rumours have suggested that the all of the new phones will have an improved rear camera, an enhanced selfie camera and an upgraded display.
Also, the regular iPhone 17 could be slightly larger than previous versions of the mobile – measuring 6.3 inches instead of 6.1 inches.
A leak suggested that the iPhone 17 Pro and Pro Max could have a rectangular camera bar stretching across the device.
Other overhauls to the iconic phone’s design include swapping the aluminium frame for a titanium one and a glass panel being added on to support wireless charging.
The news comes after the company’s television department, Apple TV, signed a deal with two major British stars.
Both James Corden and Ruth Jones have signed 7-figure deal with Apple TV, after the huge success of their Gavin and Stacey finale.
The deal is believed to be worth £8 million and filming for their new show will begin next year.
A show insider said: “In what has unquestionably been a pretty miserable year for Brits, there is finally something to cheer — a new James and Ruth co-production.
“As you might expect, it is uplifting, gentle and very funny.
“They wanted to bring something full of heart and warmth back to screens; water cooler moments for all the family.
“Naturally there was a lot of interest around the script and a major bidding war to land this production.
“But James already had an excellent relationship with AppleTV+.
“It acquired the rights to his Carpool Karaoke, and it made sense to go in this direction.
“James and Ruth had been tapped up by Netflix for the Gavin and Stacey finale but turned down the money to stay loyal to BBC.
“This time, with a new format and new characters, they wanted to let an international audience enjoy their work.
“Casting has yet to begin but everyone involved so far is incredibly excited to get going.”
