Apple Watch Series 11 Price and Availability
At the time of writing, the Apple Watch Series 11 is available for pre-order ahead of its official launch on September 19. The wearable is positioned firmly as Apple’s mid-range watch, with a starting RRP of £369/$399 for its 42mm GPS model.
Apple Watch Series 11 Design and Screen
Apple promises that the aluminium Apple Watch Series 11 model boasts twice the scratch resistance compared to its predecessor. This, Apple explains, is thanks to the Watch Series 11’s unique Ion-X glass, which Apple claims is the toughest in the industry. The Ion-X display is then treated with an Apple-designed ceramic coating that hardens the surface.
If you opt for the titanium model instead, then you’ll find the same sapphire front crystal found in its titanium predecessors, which Apple promises is the “most scratch-resistant and crack-resistant material covering a display”.
As usual, the Apple Watch Series 11 is available in two sizes, 42mm and 46mm, and comes with a choice of accompanying bands, including the Nike Sport Band, Nike Sport Loop, and even Hermès bands.

Apple Watch Series 11 Features and Specs
Alongside the Apple Watch Ultra 3, the Apple Watch Series 11 now benefits from 5G connectivity, which should provide faster performance when you’re on the move. In addition, the Watch Series 11 also features a redesigned cellular antenna, which is not only more power-efficient than its predecessors but also helps boost signal strength when necessary.
It’s worth noting that the Apple Watch Series 11 doesn’t benefit from a new chip, and retains the same S10 chip found in the Apple Watch Series 10. In fact, even the more expensive Apple Watch Ultra 3 runs on the same S10 chip too.

A key improvement from the Apple Watch Series 11’s predecessor, however, is its battery life. While the Apple Watch Series 10 offered up to 18 hours of battery life on a single charge, the Series 11 now promises up to 24 hours of battery life for both day and night tracking. Finally, the Series 11 also supports fast charging, with Apple promising that 15 minutes will result in up to eight hours of battery life.
In addition to its suite of health monitoring tools, including an ECG app and sleep apnea notifications, the Apple Watch Series 11 introduces hypertension notifications. The notifications are designed to alert users if signs of chronic high blood pressure are detected, with the idea that users should log their blood pressure for seven days after the alert and share their results with a doctor.
This, however, isn’t exclusive to the Apple Watch Series 11 and will be available in the Watch Series 9 and later models, as well as the Apple Watch Ultra 2 and 3.
