Apple TV is getting into the holiday spirit with a packed lineup of seasonal programming, including new specials, returning favourites, and even a few free streaming windows for Peanuts classics.

Kicking off the celebrations is The First Snow of Fraggle Rock, a brand-new holiday special premiering on December 5, alongside returning favourites A Charlie Brown Thanksgiving and A Charlie Brown Christmas, both available to stream for free on select weekends in November and December.

For movie fans, Apple is rolling out two major holiday releases: The Family Plan 2, an action-comedy sequel starring Mark Wahlberg, Michelle Monaghan, and Kit Harington, arrives November 21, while Brad Pitt headlines F1 The Movie, which debuts globally on December 12.

Apple’s wider festive lineup also includes award-winning and ‘fan-favourite’ titles such as The Velveteen Rabbit; The Boy, the Mole, the Fox and the Horse, along with Spirited, Mariah Carey’s Magical Christmas Special, and Hannah Waddingham: Home for Christmas.

Apple TV Holiday Highlights 2025

  • Free streaming: A Charlie Brown Thanksgiving (Nov. 15–16) and A Charlie Brown Christmas (Dec. 13–14)
  • New premieres: The Family Plan 2 (Nov. 21) and The First Snow of Fraggle Rock (Dec. 5)
  • Streaming debut: F1 The Movie (Dec. 12)
  • Spirited, The Velveteen Rabbit, The Boy, the Mole, the Fox and the Horse, and Mariah Carey’s Magical Christmas Special

New and returning subscribers can watch Apple TV+ on a wide range of devices for $12.99 per month, with a seven-day free trial or three months free when activating a new Apple device.

This news comes hot on the heels of a slightly confusing rebrand for the service, which has dropped the Plus – although Apple still seems to be using the moniker in some instances for now.
