Software company astronomer started a formal examination after the married CEO and HR’s head were caught on intimate during a coldplay concert, where the internet was flooded in rumors about an alleged affair between the boss and his mutual.

“Astronomer is dedicated to the values and culture that have led us since our foundation. Our leaders are expected to set the standard in both behavior and accountability,” the company said in a statement on LinkedIn.

“The board of directors has started a formal investigation into this issue and we will have more information to share very soon.

Social media went into the Meltdown after images to show two people – later identified as Andy Byron and the Chief People officer Kristin Cabot of his company – jumping awkwardly out of each other’s arms while on a “Kiss Cam” flashed during the band in Boston on Wednesday evening.

Byron, who had wrapped his arms around Cabot’s waist from behind, let her go quickly while his HR chef covered her face with her hands. He then squatted down and tried to hide in front of the camera.

“Oh, what … They have an affair or they are just very shy,” Coldplay frontman Chris Martin joked while the couple ran away from where they were.

In his statement, the company tried to clarify various details about the incident and the aftermath, the alleged response from Byron.

“Andy Byron has made no explanation, reports that otherwise say are all incorrect,” was the statement.

Although Byron Mama held at the incident, co-founder of astronomer Ry Walker, who himself was a CEO was from 2015 to 2019, and collaborated with him, about X. “I found Andy as a professional, I was only with him once on a phone call,” he wrote.

“Everyone in the team has praised his leadership to me. So I think this is an unfortunate development that comes like a big surprise,” he added.

Byron is a CEO of Astronomer, a data orchestration platform established in New York City that enables “data teams to bring mission-critical analyzes, AI and software to life”, since 2023, according to the LinkedIn page of the company.

In the meantime, Cabot joined the team nine months ago, according to her LinkedIn.

Despite the official investigation, hundreds of online jokes about the uncomfortable situation cracked and speculated that the two cheated on their spouses.

“: If they had just stuck it and smiled in front of the camera, this would never have surfaced as virally as it did,” wrote an internet user. “They would have left their spouses as soon as they had heard from their coldplay fetish,” another joked.
