Asus NUC 14 Essential has been unveiled by the brand with Intel Core N-series chipsets. The entry-level mini PC offers enhanced performance along with power efficiency as compared to the models that are already on the market. As claimed by Asus, the PC has gone through rigid tests like bake and humidity and it has passed all of them with flying colors.
The device comes with support for up to three 4K displays through HDMI port and DisplayPort. The PC also includes support for Bluetooth 5.3 and WiFi 6E connectivity. As of now, the pricing and availability-related information of the device is under wraps. In addition, Asus has also stated that the availability and specifications of the PC will vary based on the region of sale.
Asus NUC 14 specifications and features
The Asus NUC 14 brings a Windows 11 64-bit operating system. And the Kit version of the PC also extends support for Ubuntu 24.04 LTS 64-bit along with RedHat Enterprise Linux 64-bit. Processors options that the buyers get to see are the Intel N1250, Intel N250 with 6W TDP, Core 3 N355 with 15W TDP, and the N97 with 12W TDP.
The CPUs have integrated processors along with Intel Graphics support. Apart from that, the N97 offers support for Intel UHD graphics. The mini PC also gets a Realtek ALC3251 processor for audio enhancement. They are powered by a 65W power adapter that comes with a DC input of 19VDC. The Mini PC also brings 16GB DDR5-4800 RAM. The PC also consists of multiple ports including two USB 3.2 Gen 2 Type-C ports, four USB 3.2 Gen 2 Type-A ports, a 3.5mm headset jack, RJ45 LAN, and more.
