MULTIPLE people are feared dead after a car rammed into crowds in New Orleans, according to reports.
Revellers were celebrating New Year at a street party in the city when a driver plowed their vehicle into them.
Emergency crews rushed to the scene at the intersection of Bourbon Steet and Iberville in the city’s French Quarter neighbourhood at around 3.15am.
Police have so far confirmed one death – but it is feared the toll could be as high as 10.
Bourbon Steet – a major nightlife spot – has been shut down while cops investigate.
