(MCPRO) As co-founder and commercial director, what have been the biggest challenges in driving innovation in a company like SAIMA SYSTEMS?
(Ignacio Marco Pérez) One of the main challenges has been to develop our own technology that is innovative and reliable, such as our SAIWALL technological platform, a true competitor to existing SD-WAN. Furthermore, we needed to convince an evolving and competitive market of the value of our solutions, thus achieving the trust of large companies and consolidating our international position, always maintaining a culture of constant innovation and technical excellence.
(MCPRO) Cybersecurity has become a critical element for companies in all sectors. What trends are shaping the future of digital security, and how is SAIMA SYSTEMS preparing for these trends?
(Ignacio Marco Pérez) Cyber threats have become more sophisticated and global digitalization continues to accelerate. At SAIMA SYSTEMS, we prepare by investing in our own technology, with a strong focus on the integration of robust cybersecurity solutions in our products, such as SAIWALL Secure SD-WAN, which incorporates advanced encryption and real-time protection. In addition, we are committed to innovation in AI and automation, to anticipate and respond to market challenges proactively.
(MCPRO) What has been the key for SAIMA SYSTEMS to consolidate in a highly competitive market, and what role do strategic alliances play?
(Ignacio Marco Pérez) Our success lies in constant innovation, in the development of completely our own solutions that allow us to offer technological independence and resilience. Global alliances with partners such as China Telecom, ASUS and SuperMicro have allowed us to expand our international presence and improve our offer, strengthening our position in different regions and strategic sectors.
(MCPRO) What innovative projects or disruptive technologies are you currently developing at SAIMA SYSTEMS and in which sectors are they having the greatest impact?
(Ignacio Marco Pérez) Perfecting our products with cutting-edge technologies, mainly in our flagship solution SAIWALL Secure SD-WAN, which continues to evolve to offer greater security, scalability and ease of management. We are also exploring new AI integrations, which provide intelligence and advanced automation to detect and prevent threats in real time, and further enhance the efficiency of our solutions.
For example, one of the success stories is that of bonÀrea, an agri-food company that integrates the entire value chain and operates 600 stores, 60 gas stations and some 160 logistics facilities and farms, which has sought to consolidate a robust infrastructure for its expansion and access to thousands of users and suppliers.
With SAIWALL Secure SD-WAN, SAIMA SYSTEMS has centralized communications with multichannel connections (FTTH/radio/4G–5G) and failover, has increased capacity up to 10 Gbps and 500 Mbps symmetrical per point, and integrated advanced cybersecurity (firewall, IPS, encryption, IDS/SOC), with redundancy in CPD and 24/7 support. The solution has enabled the opening of 30–50 offices/year, secure access for more than 2,000 users, and critical services such as video surveillance and Wi-Fi, reducing incidents and optimizing costs with savings of more than 40%.
The result has been a robust, scalable and highly available infrastructure that drives efficiency, security and growth.
