AXI Software, a provider of software and IT solutions, will now go by the name Anchr.
The name change of AXI Software is part of a change in strategy in which the company wants to profile itself as an umbrella organization with a focus on European growth through acquisitions.
Anchr focuses on software and SaaS solutions and wants to acquire several companies every year, while retaining the own brands and identity of the acquired organizations.
The name Anchr emphasizes AXI Software’s long-standing presence in the IT sector. The company’s new direction is based on the establishment of a ‘House of Companies’, in which entrepreneurship is central. Within this structure, Anchr offers entrepreneurs the freedom and responsibility to chart their own course, with support from the holding company.
CEO Ron van den Broek: “We must become an ideal breeding ground for entrepreneurship. By investing more intensively in our products and support, we want to provide the best solutions for today’s challenges.”
Broad offering and new brand identity
Anchr today offers seven types of solutions, including cash register software, financial software and custom solutions. The company has approximately 350 employees and works for customers such as De Bijenkorf, Vandemoortele, Colruyt Group and Umicore. With the name change, the organization is also launching a new visual identity and website.
With this new name and strategy, Anchr aims for a strengthened presence in the European market, while the company focuses on the further development and growth of its current portfolio.
