A few days after the Pegasus ceremony, it is the British turn to elect which were the most significant games of the year 2024 during the BAFTA evening dedicated to video games. The selection of named titles has come down to us, and one thing is certain, some games will leave with a lot of rewards under their arm.
Through the 17 categories, several names come back quite often. This is the case with Hellblade 2the sensory experience we loved last year, but also Black Myth : Wukongthe action-adventure game of the Chinese studio Game Science, or Balatrowhich has upset the world of independent titles with its revisit in poker’s roguelite.
Hellblade 2 dominates the appointments since its name is cited 11 times, followed closely by Astro Bot et Still Wakes the Deepboth appointed 8 times each. The ceremony will take place on April 8, there is therefore a month at the panel of voters to make his choice among the named games.
