Barracuda Networkscybersecurity specialist for companies, has announced the appointment of a new CEO: Rohit Ghai. The manager, former CEO of RSA, will replace Hatem Naguib in the positions, who will leave his post in the company, as well as his seat in the Board of Directors of Barracuda.
Naguib amounted to CEO of Barracuda in 2021 after performing various importance positions in the company, among which are those of Coo and Vice President Senior and General Manager of the business division of the company dedicated to security.
Under his mandate, Barracuda Networks has launched the security platform promoted by the Barracudaone, in addition to expanding its product portfolio and increasing its linking and involvement with partners and customers throughout the ecosystem.
With the arrival of Ghai to the company, they will now have a CEO with more than two decades of leadership experience, which has performed its work in several relevant companies of the cybersecurity sector and software as a service (SAAS). Among them, the aforementioned RSA, EMC, Symantec and CA Technologies. He is currently a member of the Pegasystems, D-Wave Systems and MHC Software, positions that will not leave on the occasion of its appointment.
It has a wide strategic vision and knowledge of the sector, already throughout its trajectory, focused on innovation, has dealt with the global operations scaling. His appointment has occurred as a prelude at the beginning of an expansion phase for Barracuda. In addition to occupying the CEO position, Ghai will also join the Board of Directors of the company.
