A handful of Bcachefs file-system fixes were submitted yesterday to Linus Torvalds for merging ahead of the Linux 6.16-rc5 release due out on Sunday. Today they were merged.

While the future of Bcachefs in the mainline Linux kernel is uncertain for Linux 6.17+, Bcachefs is remaining in the kernel for the Linux 6.16 cycle contrary to some saying it was already removed… With yesterday’s Bcachefs pull request containing just bug fixes and not any new feature code, Torvalds punctually honored the merge request for landing these fixes.

Alan Huang (1):
bcachefs: Fix incorrect transaction restart handling

Bharadwaj Raju (1):
bcachefs: mark invalid_btree_id autofix

Kent Overstreet (3):
bcachefs: fix btree_trans_peek_prev_journal()
bcachefs: Work around deadlock to btree node rewrites in journal replay
bcachefs: opts.casefold_disabled

This Bcachefs pull is now in Linux Git as of a few minutes ago, ahead of Linux 6.16-rc5 being released this weekend.
