Escape from Duckov, a top-down PvE extraction shooter developed by Bilibili’s in-house studio Team Soda, launched on Thursday. Within three days of release, the game sold more than 300,000 copies, reaching a peak of 74,434 concurrent players on Steam. It currently holds a “Very Positive” rating, with over 90% of user reviews being favorable. Set in a bizarre and humorous “Duck Planet survival” universe, Escape from Duckov features more than 50 types of weapons, customizable hideouts, and a mix of tactical and comedic gameplay. Priced at RMB 58 (around $8), the title has surpassed Battlefield 6 to top Steam’s best-selling chart in China, quickly becoming one of the latest breakout hits in the country’s single-player gaming market.
