The end-credit sequence of the martial arts action film Blades of the Guardians was created with the assistance of ByteDance’s video generation model Seedance 2.0, the film’s team said. Director Yuen Woo-ping told Doubao that during post-production the team discovered the model could produce multi-shot, cinematic-quality video, and chose to use it for the end credits. Seedance 2.0 employs a multi-modal architecture that improves physical accuracy and controllability in complex interactive scenes. Yuen Woo-ping said he hopes AI will continue to support high-level action design, innovative scriptwriting and other areas, bringing new energy to the film industry. [TechNode Reporting]
