Announced during Diablo’s 30th anniversary celebrations, the warlock class now benefits from a complete presentation. As its name suggests, it relies on black magic to subdue demons from the Underworld. The customization system is based on the choice of four soul shards and three fragments, allowing you to bond with a unique demon which will profoundly influence the style of play. Summoning, control and demonic combos will be at the heart of the gameplay of this new class.

New in the series, Season of Slaughter arriving on March 11 will allow players to transform into the Butcherone of the franchise’s most iconic monsters. It also introduces Slaughter Shrines, the Slaughter Ceremony in the Fields of Hatred, and new slaughterhouses. A five-tier Killstreak system will reward quick kill streaks with experience points and seasonal reputation.
From the launch of this season, a collaboration with Doom The Dark Ages will also be available. Slayer-inspired ornaments will be available through the Free Reliquary, including the Chainsaw Shield Skin, Slayer’s Bane, and Cyberdemon Head Trophy. Other Doom-themed cosmetics will be available in the in-game store.
