Bridgerton still shot

Liam Daniel/Netflix

Colin and Penelope got their love story, and now the Regency-era Netflix hit Bridgerton is readying its next romantic saga. In the fourth season, the Bridgerton character experiencing sparks is Colin’s artsy older brother Benedict.

Season 4 will see Benedict meet Sophie Baek, a resourceful maid who appears in disguise at a masquerade ball. Fate brings them together outside of the ball, but Benedict is unaware that she and the “Lady in Silver” he is searching for are the same person, per a Netflix synopsis. Netflix is releasing the Cinderella-esque entry in two parts, and the first drop is just hours away. Read on to find out when you can watch the new installment, which draws from the third book in Julia Quinn’s Bridgerton series.

How to watch Bridgerton season 4 on Netflix

Bridgerton season 4 will consist of eight total episodes. US viewers should be able to watch the first four episodes on Netflix starting at midnight PT/3 a.m. ET on Thursday, Jan. 29. The remaining four installments will be released on Thursday, Feb. 26.

Who’s in the cast of Bridgerton season 4?

You’ll spot a lot of familiar faces in the season 4 cast, including main Bridgerton couples Anthony and Kate (Jonathan Bailey and Simone Ashley) and Colin and Penelope (Luke Newton and Nicola Coughlan). The season also features Bridgerton siblings Eloise (Claudia Jessie), Hyacinth (Florence Hunt), Gregory (Will Tilston) and Francesca (Hannah Dodd), who married John Stirling (Victor Alli) last season, and family matriarch Violet Bridgerton (Ruth Gemmell).

More returning characters include Lady Danbury (Adjoa Andoh), Queen Charlotte (Golda Rosheuvel), Lord Marcus Anderson (Daniel Francis), Will Mondrich (Martins Imhangbe) and Alice Mondrich (Emma Naomi). Additionally, there’s Mrs. Varley (Lorraine Ashbourne), Michaela Stirling (Masali Baduza), Brimsley (Hugh Sachs) and Portia Featherington (Polly Walker). Julie Andrews remains the voice of Lady Whistledown.

New characters include Sophie (Yerin Ha), love interest of Benedict (Luke Thompson), the second eldest Bridgerton son. Netflix says that Sophie works for Lady Araminta Gun (Katie Leung), who has two daughters debuting on the marriage mart, Rosamund (Michelle Mao) and Posy (Isabella Wei).

What are the Netflix plans?

Netflix offers an ad-based subscription tier, Standard with ads, for $8 per month. Or you can subscribe to its ad-free tiers at $18 per month for Standard or $25 per month for Premium. Netflix is known for its massive originals like Bridgerton, and you can also watch the spinoff, Queen Charlotte: A Bridgerton Story, with any plan. Read our review of Netflix for more.
