Volcengine, the cloud computing arm of ByteDance, has disclosed the pricing structure for its Seedance 2.0 video generation model, with costs averaging roughly one yuan ($0.14) per second. According to information published on Volcengine’s website, the Doubao-Seedance-2.0 model is priced at 28 yuan ($3.90) per million tokens for video input (video editing), and 46 yuan ($6.40) per million tokens for pure video generation without video input. Generating a 15-second video consumes approximately 308,880 tokens, translating to about 1 yuan — or roughly $0.14 — per second for pure video generation. [IThome, in Chinese]
