CAITLIN Clark would never be paid what she’s worth by the WNBA, her agent has claimed.
The Indiana Fever star has been partly responsible for a huge boom in interest in women’s basketball.

Clark, 23, is entering her second season in the league after a stunning 2024.
She helped the NCAA Women’s Final Four reach higher audiences than the Men’s Final Four while with Iowa.
And Clark was then drafted No. 1 overall by the Indiana Fever.
She will earn $78,000 in basic salary with the team this season.
According to ESPN, she was responsible for $36 million in economic impact for Indianapolis.
And Clark also accounted for 27 per cent of the WNBA’s entire economic activity.
That included broadcasting as well as road games being moved to bigger arenas to accommodate more fans.
Her agent Erin Kane told ESPN it would be impossible for the WNBA and Indiana Fever to pay Clark what she’s worth.
“Will Caitlin Clark ever be paid by the WNBA what she’s really worth to that league?
“I don’t think that’s possible,” Kane said.
“She’s part of a larger player body- they all need to be paid more.
“She should be recognized for what she has done and what she’s brought to the league from an economic standpoint.
“It’s as simple as that.
“The most important thing always has been getting WNBA players paid for what they do on the court.

“I’m very, very hopeful for this CBA negotiation that it will be progressive and move the line forward a lot.”
The Unrivaled 3×3 league launched this year and paid players on average $220,000.
Stars signing up also got equity in the league.
Clark opted to skip the event and focus on her WNBA career.
The WNBA signed a new TV deal worth $200 million a season for 11 years.
That’s an increase in the current $60 million annual contract.
