A first look at the Motorola Edge 70 Pro has surfaced online, offering an early glimpse at Motorola’s next premium mid-range contender.
According to a leaked promotional image on X, the Edge 70 Pro will feature a curved display with a centred punch-hole camera. This is a design that aligns with the rest of the Edge 70 lineup.
Around the back, the phone appears visually similar to the Motorola Edge 70 Fusion. However, there are minor tweaks – most notably a repositioned LED flash within the camera module.
The leak also highlights a stronger emphasis on finishes this time around. The handset is expected to launch in three distinct colour options, each with its own texture.
There will be a green variant with a “satin-luxe” finish and a blue model with a fabric-like rear. In addition, there will be a white option featuring a marble-inspired look. It’s a design approach that suggests Motorola is leaning into more tactile, lifestyle-focused aesthetics rather than just specs.
While full camera details remain under wraps, Motorola appears to be positioning the device around low-light photography. The tagline “seize the night” is featured prominently in the promotional material. That hints at improved night mode performance. However, exact sensor details are still unknown.
Early specifications suggest the Edge 70 Pro could pack a sizeable 6,500mAh battery, paired with 90W fast charging. Wireless charging is also expected. Additionally, there will be modern connectivity features such as Wi-Fi 6E and NFC. This puts it in line with current flagship expectations.
The Edge 70 Pro isn’t expected to arrive alone either. Reports indicate Motorola is also preparing additional models, including a Pro+ and a Lite variant. Details on those remain scarce for now.
As with most early leaks, details could still change. However, if accurate, the Edge 70 Pro is shaping up to be a design-led upgrade with a focus on battery life and nighttime photography.
