CES is a showcase for the next big thing in tech; most announcements are sneak peeks at what we can buy in the year ahead or forward-looking concepts that may never come to fruition. Occasionally, however, some vendors come to the show with products you can add to cart immediately and have on your doorstep in the coming months. Here are a few highlights.
OnePlus 13

OnePlus introduced two affordable and flagship phones, the OnePlus 13 and OnePlus 13R, at CES. The OnePlus 13 lasts over 24 hours, has AI photo-editing tools, and is fully waterproof. It comes in three colors and two configurations: 12GB of RAM and 256GB of storage for $899.99 or 16GB of RAM and 512GB of storage for $999.99. In our review, we found that it offers most of what you want in a flagship phone—including a stunningly bright display, swift performance, and top battery life—at a slightly more palatable price than competitors. It’s available now. The OnePlus 13R has many of the same features but runs a slower processor and is water-resistant but not waterproof. It’s more budget-friendly at $599.99. Preorder now ahead of a Jan. 14 ship date.

The Anker Power 165W Bank is an ideal travel companion. It packs a walloping 25,000mAh battery and can charge three devices at once via its 100W USB-C ports. It has two built-in cables so you don’t need to worry about bringing separate ones. A handy display gives you real-time data like total output power, power output at each port, and your battery health. It’s TSA-certified to carry on flights and is available now for $99.99. A 140W charger is also available for $89.99.
Netgear Orbi 870 Series Tri-Band WiFi 7 Mesh
(Credit: Netgear)
Offering speeds up to 21Gbps and available in a 3-pack for $1,299, the new Orbi 870 mesh system is certainly not what you’d call affordable for most households. But Wi-Fi 7 isn’t meant to be mainstream just yet. To that end, the Orbi 870 offers some seriously beefy specs, like a 10GbE WAN port and four 2.5GbE LAN ports on each node. The system offers 4×4 streams on the 6GHz frequency, which is quite uncongested compared with 5GHz and 2.4GHz. It’s on sale now.

The company’s Mini Panel Lights lets you configure a design of your choosing, which you can control via an app. Available now in a 10-pack for $99.99 or a 20-pack for $149.99, it supports up to 50 lighting effects across 120 panels.
TCL QM6K TV Series

Trade shows like CES often make great use of the cavernous convention center space to showcase massive TV installations; the bigger, the better. But many of these show-stopping displays are just for show, or marketed to businesses that can spend tens of thousands of dollars on them. So it’s notable that TCL came to CES with a TV that’s available to preorder now. The company’s QM6K series of QLED TVs start at $999.99 for a 65-inch set, which comes with a free TCL Q75H soundbar. The downside is we don’t have a firm ship date yet, but you should get it within 4-6 weeks of that being announced, Mashable reports.

Some people identify as plant parents. They have homes teeming with glossy greenery that never seems to wilt. I am not one of those people. Every green thing I’ve owned has died but that’s a problem the LeafyPod says it can solve. Fill the smart planter’s reservoir with water and it analyzes your plant and dispenses water as needed. An app lets you check in on the health of your plant and gives you tips on lighting, temperature, and humidity. You can preorder the LeafyPod now for $148 and it ships in April.
